What the National Weather Service recorded
A strong surge of warm, moist, and unstable air ahead of an approaching warm front led to a large bow echo with damaging straight line winds across southern WI. Numerous tree damage and some structural damage occurred. A wake low with wind gusts up to 40 mph immediately followed the thunderstorms. There was no known tree damage from the wake low.
